Now that I have left Australia I am trying to get my tax back and my australiansuper, but I applied for my TFN and it never got sent to me since my address was a postoffice at Mt Buller, its going to be a long time until i get my money I can tell.
When you’re traveling, you are what you are, right there and then. People don’t have your past to hold against you. No yesterdays on the road.

Me at Station beach in Cape Otway, it took about an hour to hike to this beach from Bimbi Park. I wish I had, had better shoes since i was walking up sand dunes! sandy shoes. When I got there it was like when you see those films where someone is stranded on a desert island, there was no one in sight.

So i’m still at Bimbi park, cleaning toilets and kitchens. I was starting to get pretty miserable, I got rudely spoken to by a customer here and i was doing it every day without a day off. Then we got a new volunteer from Hong Kong and he’s been helping me, instead of it taking me 2 hours to finish everything it only takes an hour now so I have more time to do whatever I like. Yesterday I hiked to Station beach and rainbow falls in Cape otway, it was beautiful it felt like I had a whole beach to myself! But because I can’t really go anywhere without hiking or driving i’m going to go home for christmas, finally do my driving test and come back, finish my visa work and be happier, thats the plan anyway. I leave bimbi on tuesday, I’m staying the night at meg’s house and then she’s driving me on wednesday to southern cross train station where i’ll get the sky bus to the airport.

Sorry I haven’t written in a while! did the long travel to Cape otway yesterday, it was 30 degrees, it wasn’t the best day to spend on a train, bus & car ride! anyway I arrived to Apollo bay and Katrina wasn’t there so I was a bit worried for about 5 minutes then she drove down the road waving out her car, she is lovely and so is her husband and three boys, Bimbi Park is definitely one of the best places i’ve been, best place to volunteer I’d highly recommend it to anyone! I live in a cabin with a fridge, bed, tv, dvd player & sofa I love it. I spent yesterday night rolling over 100 pizza bases to make homemade pizzas for backpackers in a clay coal fire oven but I’ll only be doing that once a week, so good to munch on a homemade pizza while working though. I’m leaving to cape otway in the morning, either the 9 train or the 2… can’t decide if it’s better to get there at 12.45pm or 6.45pm?
